Welcome to Christmas in Barre! We are a non-profit group, run solely by volunteers, committed to decorating Barre's commons and bringing free annual events to residents. As we are not an official Town committee, the majority of the costs for the expenses of the season rely on donations from community members, businesses and organizations, and grants.

Festival of Trees
Immerse yourself in the magic of the season at our enchanting
Festival of Trees, where the spirit of the holidays comes to life in
a breathtaking display of creativity and cheer. Set in the Barre
Town Hall, this festive event features an extraordinary collection
of exquisitely adorned trees, wreaths, and gift baskets, each one
uniquely crafted and donated by local individuals, businesses, and
community groups. ​Stroll through the winter wonderland as you marvel at the stunning submissions, each telling its own story through its decorations and imaginative themes. The Festival of Trees offers something for everyone. ​​
This year's Festival of Trees will be held on:
Friday, December 6 from 3 to 7 p.m.
and
Saturday, December 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Interested in Donating an Item?
Brighten the season and spread holiday cheer by donating a tree, wreath, or gift basket to our Festival of Trees! Your generous contribution will not only add to the festive ambiance but also support out community spirit.

Whether you create a stunningly decorated tree, a beautifully crafted wreath, or a thoughtfully assembled gift basket, your donation will be featured in our grand drawing, giving visitors a chance to take home your special creation.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Winning tickets will be drawn Saturday at 3 p.m. for pick up that evening.

Your donation will be labeled with your name and/or the name of your business.

The Town Hall will be open on Wednesday, December 4, and Thursday, December 5 in the evening for setting up and decorating your trees. Applicants will be contacted with the time the Town Hall will be open, and the building will be locked and secured each night.
